I’m a Belgian author drawn to the messier, more human corners of fantasy, where kingdoms are shaped by old lies, loyalty carries a cost, and choices matter more than chosen ones.

The completed Ravenblood duology follows three soldiers who pull one thread and watch their kingdom’s founding story come apart in their hands. Blackforge Law moves to the Shattered Marshes, where a newly branded knight is caught between the creed that gave him purpose and the people it has marked for ash.

My influences range from the grand scope of classic fantasy to the darker storytelling of Berserk and the layered character relationships of Spice and Wolf. Music is another lasting source of inspiration, particularly the storytelling, imagery, and sense of myth in the work of Ronnie James Dio.

I care about tight, deliberate storytelling: no filler, no fluff, and every scene earning its place. I built that approach through courses, tools, online resources and time spent taking apart the stories I love to understand why they work.
